SLAVIC AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO MEET WITH
STATE LEGISLATORS FOR THIRD ANNUAL LEGISLATIVE DAY
SACRAMENTO – The Slavic American Chamber of Commerce is holding its third annual legislative day on May 23 at the Capitol to advocate for issues important to the Slavic and Russian businesses. According to the Russian Media, there are an estimated 120,000 Slavic Immigrants residing in the greater Sacramento area.
The legislative day is 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and includes a lunch with keynote speaker state Controller John Chiang, visits with legislators, and a VIP reception in the evening.
“The Slavic American Chamber of Commerce was founded to promote the growth and successful economic development of Slavic American businesses and businesses that cater to one of the largest minorities in California,” said Sergey Terebkov, founder and president of the Slavic chamber.
The chamber focuses on providing and facilitating business opportunities for its members through business networking events and legislative advocacy.
